Motion as a material: a brand built to move.

The problem

Unbound entered an oversaturated sports apparel market where every competitor competed on performance specs alone. They needed a visual identity that led with culture, not product.

The thinking

We defined a motion-first design language: the brand's primary expression is kinetic. Static applications derive from freeze-frames of the system in motion. A reduced typeface palette (one display, one mono) keeps the system tight while the motion layer provides the richness.

The result

Brand launch generated 2.4M organic impressions in week one. The motion system shipped to their in-house team as a Rive component library, enabling consistent animation across all digital surfaces without per-asset production overhead.
